In a delightful twist of events, David Beckham, known for his soccer prowess and sharp fashion sense, swapped the World Cup excitement for the serene atmosphere of Wimbledon. On Monday, he was spotted enjoying the opening day of the prestigious tennis tournament from the Royal Box on Centre Court.
Beckham made the appearance alongside his mother, Sandra. They shared the Royal Box with notable figures like actor Mark Rylance and Ronan Keating, the Boyzone singer. The star-studded audience was treated to a thrilling match featuring defending champion Jannik Sinner against Miomir Kecmanovic. The day also promised appearances by women’s No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and seven-time men’s champion Novak Djokovic in their respective first-round matches.
Recently, Beckham has been busy traversing the United States to catch various World Cup matches. Just this past Saturday, he was in the stands to witness England’s final group-stage match against Panama. His itinerary also included watching Scotland’s loss to Brazil in Miami and England’s draw against Ghana near Boston.
Beyond his soccer fame, Beckham is also a co-owner of the Major League Soccer team Inter Miami, further entrenching his legacy in the world of sports.
