Among them were American actor Dustin Hoffman and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who were present to witness defending champion Jannik Sinner compete against Novak Djokovic on Centre Court.
The Royal Box, known for its exclusive guest list, included prominent British actors such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Hugh Laurie, and Damian Lewis. Fashion icons Tom Ford and Anna Wintour also graced the event with their presence, enjoying the matches from this prestigious area.
Sachin Tendulkar, often hailed as a cricket legend, retired in 2013 after completing a remarkable 200 test matches. His esteemed status was acknowledged by Wimbledon, which referred to him as “cricket royalty.” Another cricket icon, Brian Lara from the West Indies, was also spotted in the Royal Box.
Virgil van Dijk, the captain of Liverpool and a defender for the Netherlands, was in attendance as well. The Dutch team had recently been eliminated from the World Cup in the round of 32.
Despite being 88 years old, Dustin Hoffman chose not to sit in the Royal Box this year, although he did so previously in 2024.
In earlier matches on Centre Court, Alexander Zverev secured his place in the Sunday finals after defeating British wild card Arthur Fery.
