Celebrated musician Stevie Wonder has delighted fans with the release of unheard tracks from his renowned album Songs in the Key of Life, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. Recognized as a pivotal moment in music history, the album’s legacy continues to grow with these new offerings.

On the anniversary of its release, Wonder introduced four previously unreleased songs that were recorded during the original sessions. These tracks, titled “It’s Easier,” “My Life Story of Love,” “I Can See the Sun in Late December,” and “I’m Into Livin’,” are compiled in a new EP aptly named Songs in the Key of Life: The EP.

In a statement shared via Pitchfork, Wonder expressed, “We’ve lived with Songs in the Key of Life for fifty years, but there’s still more to hear. We didn’t add these songs to the album, but they were part of what I was feeling and discovering as we made it. They bring me back to that time in my life, and now they get to become part of yours.”

In addition to this release, Wonder is set to embark on a world tour to commemorate the album’s milestone. According to Rolling Stone, the legendary artist will perform the entire album during each show, a testament to his enduring talent and passion for music.

The tour will begin in the United Kingdom on October 13 and will extend to the United States in November and December. It remains to be seen if the new tracks will feature in his performances, but fans can look forward to experiencing a treasured piece of music history live.
