Addressing these rumors, Michelle Obama asserts her independence and clarifies that her marriage is intact, expressing her freedom to live life on her own terms at the age of 61.

But that is what society does to us.”
She further explained her current life choices, focusing on her personal desires. “Now is the time for me to start asking myself these hard questions of, ‘Who do I truly want to be every day?’” she reflected.
