Countdown Begins for 2026 NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four in Phoenix
Travelers passing through Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport will now find a new timepiece ticking down to a significant milestone: the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four, set to make its debut in Arizona in 2026.
Scheduled for April 3, 2026, the semifinal games will be hosted at PHX Arena in downtown Phoenix, culminating with the championship on April 5.
Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego was present at the clock’s unveiling, highlighting its dual role as both a “reminder” for millions of travelers and a “point of pride” for the city.
The region previously welcomed the men’s Final Four in Glendale in 2017 and anticipates another event in 2024, but this marks the first occasion for the women’s tournament to take place in Arizona.
