Arizona Gas Prices See a Slight Decline Post-Holiday
Motorists in Arizona are experiencing a small relief at the pump as the statewide average gas prices decreased by 6 cents following the Christmas holiday. Currently, the average price per gallon stands at approximately $3.05. Although this is marginally lower than the same period last year, it still exceeds the national average.
Julian Paredes from AAA Arizona shared insights on the current pricing trends, indicating a period of stability. “Winter has historically been a pretty calm time for gas prices so no major changes are expected for the next few weeks. Things are pretty calm right now,” Paredes noted.
Within the state, the cost of fuel varies, with Graham County experiencing the highest prices and La Paz County offering the most affordable options.
