Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Ranks Among Top North American Airports
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport has achieved recognition as one of the leading airports in North America in terms of passenger satisfaction. This acknowledgment comes from the latest study conducted by JD Power.
In the 2026 North American Airport Satisfaction Study, Sky Harbor was ranked as the third-best mega airport. Mega airports are those that cater to over 33 million passengers annually.
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International airports took the first and second spots, with Minneapolis-Saint Paul maintaining its top position for three consecutive years.
Sky Harbor achieved a score of 642 out of a possible 1,000 points. The study’s insights are derived from almost 25,000 passenger surveys across the U.S. and Canada, evaluating aspects like ongoing construction, terminal navigation, clear signage, local cultural branding, and overall passenger experience.
