Michigan Announces Winners of “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest
Michigan’s second “I voted” sticker design contest has concluded with the announcement of the winners. The newly designed stickers pay homage to Michigan culture, featuring elements like construction, coney dogs, the Michigan Left, Euchre, Petoskey stones, license plates, and adorable critters.
The voting period for Michigan residents lasted until June 30, during which they could choose their favorite stickers from a pool of 90 submissions spread across three categories. The Michigan Department of State reported a significant increase in submissions compared to the first contest held during the 2024 presidential election year, receiving four times the number of entries.
In a press release, the Michigan Department of State expressed their delight at the overwhelming participation in the contest. The previous contest gave rise to the iconic werewolf ripping its shirt off sticker, which has since become a symbol associated with voting in Michigan.
