Massive Development Project Begins Near TSMC Complex in Phoenix
In an ambitious move set to transform the landscape of north Phoenix, construction has commenced on the expansive 2,300-acre Halo Vista development. This multiuse project is strategically located around Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s (TSMC) semiconductor facility and promises an innovative blend of retail, residential, and industrial spaces.
With inspiration drawn from TSMC’s facilities in Taiwan, the $7 billion endeavor is designed to accommodate a variety of needs within the tech industry. Thomas Maynard from the Greater Phoenix Economic Council elaborates on the potential impact of Halo Vista: “It’s gonna be a major hub for employment, for all sorts of high tech technologies, a lot of semiconductor and the supply chains and supporting functions to support the semiconductor ecosystem.”

Maynard indicates that the Halo Vista project is paving the way for future developments aimed at accommodating large-scale employers. As Arizona continues to attract industry giants such as TSMC and LG, particularly in areas like Queen Creek, similar expansive land developments are expected to emerge.
The anticipated surge in job creation and economic opportunities in the region highlights the significance of this project. It represents a new chapter for manufacturing and high-tech industries in the Valley, ensuring a robust infrastructure for future growth.
