Surprises and Celebrations

One remarkable moment featured Senior Airman Marquis Soto, honored as the WrestleMania “Military Spotlight” recipient. Soto, a dedicated WWE fan, was overjoyed when he was presented with WrestleMania tickets, a moment captured in a WWE Instagram post with the caption: “The MFT’s and Michin surprised lifelong WWE fan Airman Soto with #WrestleMania tickets!”

Another heartfelt surprise took place at a dining facility on base, where Airman Ammon Ferber was acknowledged for his exceptional work ethic and upcoming deployment. Ferber, who scored 99% on a recent exam, received two tickets to Monday Night Raw, creating yet another unforgettable moment.

Beyond the Base

The WWE stars extended their visit beyond Nellis, attending a Purple Up Day event at the Coral Academy of Science. This assembly, part of the Month of the Military Child, celebrates the resilience of military children, acknowledging the unique challenges they face due to the nature of military life.

The event’s broader scope highlighted the USO’s commitment to supporting military families, a mission it has championed since 1941. Through entertainment events like this one, the USO brings joy and recognition to service members and their loved ones worldwide.
